PURPOSE:To form a copying condition setting device of a copying machine, which is capable of setting a copying condition in a short time, and also scarcely causes a setting error, by constituting so that a copying mode copied in accordance with a shortened code can be set automatically. CONSTITUTION:When a shortened code selecting button 21c is turned on, reception by a usual ten key, etc. is not executed, and a device becomes a shortened code mode.
