The invention relates to the improvement of a blood agitator according to French Patent No. 81 04918. According to this invention the agitator in accordance with the main patent is characterised by an agitation system, the tray of which is driven in a sinusoidal motion by virtue of a rotary drive represented by a roller-carrier tray of different length. According to the invention, the agitator in accordance with the main patent is characterised by a weighing device using springs 13 and right-angle bracket 14. These springs are connected by a movable right-angle bracket 15 which supports the lid 28 supporting the agitator. The weighing device is associated with an abstracting cutting member operating by virtue of a rod 21 which bears on an adjusting wedge 20 and triggers a lever 22 which releases a plunger 23 comprising the stud 30 responsible for clamping the abstracting tubing 32. The adjusting wedge 20 provides the target value by modifying the distance between the latter and the lever 22. The invention can be employed for automatic abstraction of blood in pouches and for continuous agitation of liquids while being abstracted. <IMAGE>
