PURPOSE:To surely inform a driver that a brake is applied, by using a central processing unit to generate a brake pedal hold signal and a warning signal simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A brake pedal depression signal is supplied from a depression detecting circuit 50 to the NAND circuit 81 of a central processing unit 80. A vehicle stop signal is supplied from a vehicle movement detecting circuit 60 to the NAND circuit 81 as well. When both the signals are supplied to the NAND circuit 81, it produces an L-level output. Since an accelerator pedal is released, an accelerator pedal depression detecting circuit 70 produces an H-level output. As a result, a flip-flop 82 produces an L-level output to excite the solenoid 23 of an electromagnetic clutch to hold a brake pedal in a depressed position. At the same time, a monostable multivibrator 85 generates an H-level output to drive a buzzer 91 to inform that the brake is applied. |
