PURPOSE:To provide a titled tracing device which guides a weaving welding torch to a normal position in weld line tracing of said torch by integrating and comparing respectively the right and left current values of weaving and correcting the position so as to maintain the equal integrated value. CONSTITUTION:The wire 12 of a weaving torch 11 welds with the current from a welding power source 22. The current in a detecting part 25 is divided to the right and left by the signal fed from a position detector 21 to a waveform storing part 26. The divided signals are integrated in an integrating circuit 27. The integrated values are compared in a comparing and discriminating part 28, by which the deviation and deviating width of the torch are detected and the height from a set quantity value of electricity is detected. A command is emitted from an instructing part 29 to a lateral driving part 6 and a vertical driving part 7 for the torch to guide the torch to the normal position. The device makes detection without contact, permits simplification and reduction in size, is unaffected by environment and has reliability without malfunction. |
