The recirculatory ball-bearing for lengthwise movement comprises a body with two straight parallel races joined by semicircular ones, together with two outer end pieces each with a semicircular inner race and a cover for a straight race, so as to form with the body a totally-enclosed return passage for the balls. Each cover (8) encloses the end piece (6) at least at its side faces (12,13) at right angles to the axis of its inner race (7), and secures it to the body (1).
