PURPOSE:To reduce the outside diameter of a device and to make the device dimensionally compact by offcentering an inside ring for compression to be inserted into an outsidering with respect to the outside ring thereby enabling uniform filtration and compression. CONSTITUTION:An inside ring 3 for filtration and compression is disposed eccentrically to one side in an outside ring 2 for filtration and compression. The raw material charged through a feed port 31 for raw material moves along the rings 3, 2 rotating at the same circumferential speed and as the raw material is gradually compressed, compressed liquid 4 is separated. The liquid 4 flows out through the compressing liquid holes 5 punched in the ring 2 and/or the ring 3. When cake passes in a filtering and compressing part 33, the intake and below are changed over by a selector valve 20, and the cake is separated therefrom and is discharged to the outside. The capacity of the device can be increased simply by increasing the axial, length thereof by the above-mentioned method, by which the device is made smaller in outside diameter and compact. |
