In flush toilets for the disabled, the flushing and also the subsequent air-drying are automatically triggered when the disabled person sits on the toilet seat. In order that disabled people who are dependent on a wheelchair can also make use of the advantages of this flush toilet, the triggering device is attached to the rear part of the toilet and is designed so that a wheelchair user can actuate the triggering device by reversing the wheel chair.
