The invention relates to a pivoting arrangement for an illuminating element, consisting of a first sleeve which is retained by its lower end via fastening means and has on its upper end a collar-shaped termination, which projects towards the interior of the cylindrical cavity of the first sleeve and is rounded relative to the inner surface of the first sleeve, as sliding surface for a part sphere which is to be accommodated, and a longitudinal section as a guide. Arranged inside the first sleeve is a part sphere, which bears against the collar-shaped, rounded termination, having a second sleeve for fastening to the illuminating element. The second sleeve is guided pivotably in a longitudinal section of the first sleeve by means of the part sphere mounted at the upper sleeve end of the first sleeve. The connection between the part sphere and the second sleeve consists of a guide which permits a rotation of the illuminating element with respect to the central axis of the pivotable second sleeve by a specific angle, preferably by approximately 360 DEG in any position of the pivotable second sleeve.
