PURPOSE:To obtain a heat exchanger utilizing heat pipes at low cost which can exchange heat in high efficiency in the wide range in temperature, by providing a middle partitioning wall so that each outlet part of high temperature flow- path and low temperature flow-path will become wider than each inlet part. CONSTITUTION:A high temperature flow-path 13 and a low temperature flow- path 14 are formed in the framework of a heat exchanger by a vertical middle partitioning wall 12 in a heat exchanger utilizing heat pipes. The middle partitioning wall 12 is arranged being slanted looking at it in a flat surface, so that each outlet part of high temperature flow-path 13 and low temperature flow- path 14 will become wider than each inlet part. The temperature in each heat pipe is influenced by the length of a pipe in each flow-path, so that the temperature does not rise in the inlet part of a high temperature flow-path, to the contrary the temperature rises high in the inlet part of a low temperature flow- path, as a result, the difference in temperature between the high temperature flow-path part and the low temperature flow-path part of a heat pipe is made small. Accordingly all the heat pipes composing a heat exchanger are made to be water-sealed heat pipes, as a result the cost for a heat exchanger can be lowered down. |
