PURPOSE:To form a sensor of a simple structure at a low cost, which has functions of detecting an abnormal temperature of brake oil with a platinum resistance thermometer, and detecting the abrasion limit of a brake lining by utilizing the movement of a piston caused by abrasion of the brake lining. CONSTITUTION:A platinum resistance thermometer 5 for detecting the temperature of brake oil is disposed in a movable piece 6, and a conductive portion 7 made of metal is mounted on a part of the movable piece 6, the movable piece 6 being moved through a coiled spring. One terminal of the resistance thermometer is connected to the conductive portion 7, and further connected to an external outgoing lead wire 9 through the coiled spring 8. A metal conductive portion 11 is disposed along the inner surface of a case 10, and connected to the other terminal of the resistance thermometer 5 and to the lead wire 9. A sensor is set at such a position that when a piston 14 advances up to the abrasion limit of a brake lining, the movable piece 6 is pressed to be lowered by the coiled spring 8. |
