ELECTRONIC STILL CAMERA STORING COLOR SEPARATING INFORMATION

PURPOSE:To reproduce a color picture even for a picture photographed by an electronic still camera using any kind of color filter by storing the color separation information to separate the color of a picture signal subject to color modulation of the electronic still camera at each screen. CONSTITUTION:A changeover switch 21 changes over the content recorded in a memory 5 for picture information and a code as color separation information. The color separation information is specific to a digital electronic still camera reparating the color by a reproducing device and is a data representing mainly the color constitution of the color filter. A synchronism signal generator 18 transmits a synchronizing signal to an image pickup element 2 and a control circuit 19 to synchronism both, the circuit 19 controls the operation of the image pickup element 2, and A/D converter 4, a code generator 20 and the memory 5 and also controls the switching operation of the changeover switch 21.
