PURPOSE:To accomplish wide-angle deflection and branching action without a change of airflow by providing a rotatable flow control wing disposed at an outlet portion of a jet, which comprises a bias working surface and a curved surface portion in a direction control device disposed on a jet of an air conditioning system. CONSTITUTION:The lower surface of an outlet portion 2 of a blowoff passage 1 is a curved guide wall 3, and the wall opposite to the guide wall 3 is provided with a bias projection 4 for directing a flow inwards. A flow control wing 6 capable of turning on a shaft 60 is disposed on the outlet portion 2. The flow control wint 6 comprises two surfaces 7, 8 having bias action, a curved line portion 9 and a substantially circular-arc connecting portion 10 for connecting the surface 7 and the curved line portion 10. When the flow control wing 6 is in the illustrated state A, air is blown off horizontally. When the flow control wing 6 is turned in such a manner that the respective bias working surfaces 7, 8 are directed to the upstream side, a flow is branched horizontally and downward as illustrated in (B). |
