PURPOSE:To improve remarkably the idling characteristic including fuel cost by providing an oil pump for oil circulation and feeding, a heater for heating of a lubricant and a heater control circuit to operate the heater ON/OFF. CONSTITUTION:An oil pump 6 is provided for circulating and feeding of a lubricant 4 in an oil pan 3 to each sliding part 2 of an automobile engine 1 via an oil filter 5. A heater 8 is provided on a lubricant feeding passage 7 for heating of the lubricant 4. At the starting of the engine, the heater 8 is made ON, and a heater control circuit 9 is prepared, then the heater 8 is made OFF with the heater control circuit when the forced heating with the heater 8 becomes unnecessary after the lubricant is heated up to the previous setting temperature. Thereby, the idling characteristic including fuel cost during a warming up operation stage after the engine starting can be remarkably improved. |
