The invention relates to an asparagus ridge plough having a two-part thrower-up 1 for making the ridge and a ridge smoother 2 for shaping the ridge. The thrower-up 1 consists of two rotatable plate-shaped throwing-up discs 3 and 4 which are at right angles to one another and which are equipped with a concave excavating edge 10. The earth excavated by the excavating edge 10 is conveyed upwards in the throwing-up discs 3 and 4 during the rotation of these and is laid in front of the ridge smoother 2.
