The invention is an anti-theft protection for a bicycle air pump. Said invention comprises a clamp component (14) which can be snapped around the frame tube (12) of a bicycle. In the outer surface (17) there is a groove (16) into which the bar (18) of a bar lock (20) is inserted. The legs (22, 24) of the bar engage on flanges (30, 32) which are formed on or attached to the air pump so that after the lock is snapped in a ring is formed, which can only be opened by force and within which the air pump and the frame tube are located. <IMAGE>
