For holding flat, flexible information carriers, especially cards or pages containing functional descriptions and instructions, on a housing (WO, WU) which is used for holding an electrical apparatus or assemblies and which is provided with feet (F) for table installation and wall attachment elements (Wb1, Wb2) for wall installation, which elements can be held by means of slots (S1) by supporting elements projecting from a wall, the wall attachment elements (Wb1, Wb2) are arranged with their slots (S1) running parallel to one another, side-by-side, on the base of the housing (WU), and are provided on their mutually facing sides with projecting lugs (L) which, together with their retaining elements (Bh1, Bh2) allow the respective information carrier to be held firmly. <IMAGE>
