In this door lock, which is a mass-produced door lock and which is mainly used on burglar-proof doors, provision is made for subsequently connecting a number of cover-plate bolts immovably to the cover plate, so that, when the door lock is subjected at the front to compressive stress, no bending of the lock cover plate in relation to the lock case can occur in the region of the built-in door lock and consequently the door-lock latch and the door-lock bolt remain operational even after high compressive stress. The cover-plate bolts are fastened in the door leaf by means of wood screws or the like attached to the end face of the cover-plate bolts and have continuous grooves or bores which serve as guides for the fastening screws to be attached later for the door shields. To safeguard the door lock even further, there is provided a hardened steel plate which is attached to the rebate side of the lock case and which ..... by means of bosses which, engaging into bores of the lock case, prevent a displacement and make it impossible to drill into the lock case.
