PURPOSE:To eliminate a trouble, such as choking of a dust discharge port, damage or stop of a dust conveyor, etc., by mounting a crusher in a dust discharge port in the base part of a gas cooling chamber. CONSTITUTION:A crusher 20, which crushes and granulates relatively large massive matters and feed them downward, is mounted in a dust discharge port 15 of a gas cooling chamber 3. The crusher 20 consists of a pair of rotary bodies 22a and 22b, positioned parallel to each other, which have plural gear parts 21a and 21b at the outer periphery thereof. A dropping massive matter (a) is crushed and granulated by the crusher 20 and is discharged downward, and thereby there is completely no fear of the dust discharge port 15 being closed. This causes smooth discharge of dust in the gas cooling chamber 3. |
