PURPOSE:To generate the flow of fluid into the direction of strong supersonic wave and permit to control the direction of the fluid by a method wherein a pair of electrodes for a supersonic vibrator are connected to a supersonic oscillating device through a phase control device to drive the supersonic vibrator. CONSTITUTION:The pair of electrodes for the supersonic vibrator are connected to the supersonic oscillator through the phase control device, controlling the phase of supersonic waves between the oscillator and the vibrator. When respective vibrating pieces 1a-1d in the supersonic vibrator 1 are driven with the same phase by the phase control device and the strong supersonic wave is generated, the supersonic waves from respective vibrating pieces 1a-1d are composed and the strong supersonic wave, having a directional property into the direction orthogonal to the surface of the vibrator as shown by a broken line A, is emitted. When the vibrating pieces 1a, 1b are driven in a phase delayed to the same of the vibrating pieces 1c, 1d, the strong supersonic wave, having the directional property into the direction inclined toward the vibrating pieces 1a, 1b as shown by a full line B, is emitted and the flow of fluid may be generated into the direction of the supersonic wave shown by the full line A.
