<p>Round or cuboid pressed bales of raw fodder, such as hay, semi-wilted silage or straw and the like, require a high degree of expenditure in terms of work, machinery and packaging material for transportation and storage, in particular for silage. In order to avoid this, a system and the associated devices are proposed, according to which the pressed bales are already introduced on the field or the edge of the field into reusable bale receiving boxes 2 of a mobile container 1, in which they are stored, packaged openly or gas-tightly, until they are used, such as for feed or bedding or the like.
