PURPOSE:To obtain a reset signal by obtaining resetting of a counter from a communication signal of a circuit for communication, using a count-up output as a reset signal to detect a signal not appearing on a communication line by the hardware. CONSTITUTION:An LSIU1 converts serial data and parallel data in a start-stop communication. A U1-3 of the LSIU1 is a signal output terminal, a U1-2 terminal is a signal input terminal and a U1-1 terminal is a clock input terminal. Further, an LSIU2 is a counter, a U2-1 terminal is a clock input terminal, a U2-2 is a signal input terminal and a U2-3 is a signal output terminal. When a signal is inputted to a (b) signal line, this input is inputted to the signal input terminal U2-2 of a counter U2 to form a reset signal. Further, the count-up signal obtained by the counter U2 counting the prescribed number of clock inputs is used as the reset signal. |
