PURPOSE:To display simultaneously information on a display device by compressing picture information while applying a suitable bit and line interleaving so as to maintain a similar figure with a transmission original for one facsimile picture's share. CONSTITUTION:The facsimile picture information is inputted to a terminal (a), a control clock signal is inputted to a terminal (b) and a control signal is inputted to a terminal (c). Each input signal is fed to a line memory 2 via a line memory write control circuit 1. Further, bit interleaving cuits 16,17 perform interleaving. The signal in this memory 2 is supplied to a video signal output circuit 6 via a data bus control circuit 3, a screen memory 4, and a 1-bit video signal synthesis circuit 5. The address signal of the memory 4 is supplied by an address selecting circut 8. The circuit 8 selects one of a memory write control circuit 9, a bus control circuit 10, and a similar address control circuit 12.
