1. Electric ignition and monitoring device for gas burners with or without a pilot light and with a thermoelectrically controlled safety valve manually operated and temporarily supplied with external current during jump-spark ignition, characterised in that a solenoid valve (HV) closed in the energised state is provided in the gas feed pipe of a burner (B), this valve being supplied from the A.C. power network on actuation of the safety valve (TV) connected in parallel to a slow-release switching relay (VR) by means of a control element (U), whereby the contact arrangement (3, 4) of the switching relay (VR) switches on the external current supply (FE) and prepares for jump-spark ignition (ZG) (Fig. 1). |
