PURPOSE:To obtain the molded piece improved in clearness, physical properties by a method wherein plastisol is gelled in the mold to a suitable depth and again plastisol containing aluminium powder is gelled similarly in the mold and taken out of the mold after cooled. CONSTITUTION:The inner part of a shell mold of desired design is filled with colored or colorless transparent plastisol, then, this mold is heated by an oil bath from outside for a fixed time so that the gelled layer of a part in contact with the inside of said mold takes a suitable thickness and further, the mold is inverted to wash away the ungelled part. Then, again, the inner part of said mold is filled in advance with colorless or colored plastisol containing aluminium powder and the plastisol is heated as before-mentioned, an overflow process is conducted to the ungelled portion, then, the gelled part that has been left in the mold is heated and gelled completely. This completely gelled part is cooled and taken out of the mold to obtain the desired molded piece. |
