PURPOSE:To obtain a paper treatment device for a printer, which is capable of performing good folding operation, by using a system in which the loosening of paper between a printer and a paper treatment device is removed immediately before putting paper to the paper treatment device automatically. CONSTITUTION:A paper 4 is fed by the tractor 3 of a line printer, printed at the position of a type drum 2, sent to a paper treatment device 5, naturally dropped by a paper guider 6, and put into feed rollers 7. From the time when a micro switch 11 for detecting papers begins to operate, the treating operation of paper is started. The loosening of paper is detected by a micro switch 10 for detecting the tension of paper. At the time when paper 4 is automatically set in the paper treatment device 5, the discharge operation of paper in the line printer 1 is stopped, and the feeding operation of paper is made by the feed rollers 7 of the paper treatment device 5. |
