PURPOSE:To improve measurement precision and shorten a processing time by projecting images of a work upon three line sensors arrayed in a line and reading an obtained video signal by an arithmetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:A light source 10 is turned on to illuminate the work 1 which is sent to in front of the light source from the back surface, and images of the work 1 in three directions are projected upon the 1st, the 2nd, and the 3rd line sensors 11, 12, and 13 with some magnification at the same time. The length of the work image is detected to calculate the longitudinal and lateral lengths and inclination angle of the work. Namely, a data read is made every time a start signal is sent out, and the read data is stored in a microcomputer. This operation is repeated specific times and significant data is selected finally and processed. The measured value is displayed and outputted to an external circuit. |
