There is disclosed an endotoxin-detecting device which includes a transparent reaction tube, and an endotoxin reagent sealed in the reaction tube. A specimen liquid is introduced into the reaction tube by either a capillary action or suction, so that the endotoxin reagent is caused to react with the specimen liquid at a predetermined temperature. The concentration of endotoxin contained in the specimen liquid is determined by the gelatinization and coloring of the reaction mixture in the reaction tube.
