PURPOSE:To cause no erroneous detection of non-existence of a toner, to improve reliability, and to prevent blocking of a toner by incorporating a toner scraping mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In case a toner executes blocking in the circumference of a toner non-existence detecting sensor 2, it can be scraped by a toner scraping member 5. As for the member 5, the base part is provided on a driving mechanism 6. The mechanism 6 is connected to a driving source by a shaft passing through to the outside of a toner bottle 1. A toner agitating member 7 for moving a toner to a toner feed roll 3, and the member 5 can be synchronized with each other. A gap (d) of the member 5 and the sensor 2 is set so as to become 0-5mm.. It does not occur that an erroneous signal of existence of a toner is outputted when there is scarcely a toner in the bottle 1. When there is a toner enough, this device is used as a toner blocking preventive mechanism, too. |
