PURPOSE:To reutilize scale after polishing and to smoothen the surface of an Fe-Cr-Co permanent magnet alloy by polishing the surface of the alloy with scale powder of the alloy. CONSTITUTION:An Fe-Cr-Co permanent magnet alloy is cast, and it is subjected to hot working, soln. heat treatment, isothermal treatment in a magnetic field, and plastic working. The surface of the plastically worked alloy is polished by blowing scale powder of the alloy. By this method the surface of the magnet alloy is smoothened, and scale after the blowing is reused. |
