The open fireplace burns either gas or solid fuel. It has a detachable gas burner, a removable grate, and tubes with built-in injectors. The burner is fixed to the ash-pan, while the grate can have two rows of parallel bars in a common plane. The injector can be a tubular component filled with water and with wall openings for the passage of steam, also a float regulating the water quantity.
