PURPOSE:To enable to reduce the size of an air cooler by cooling air of the inner periphery of a top cover with water stream flowed along the outer periphery of the cover, and then circulating the cooled air into the interior of a valve water wheel generator. CONSTITUTION:Cooling air is blown via a vent passage 13 which is partitioned by air guides 11, 11', 12 provided on the inner periphery of a top cover 3, an air cooler 9 provided at the position near the cover through the interior of the cover 3 into a rotor 5 and a stator 6 by a blower 7. When the cooling air passes the passage 13 of the inner periphery of the cover 3, the air is cooled by a water stream of a water passage 1 flowed at the outer periphery of the cover 3 and further cooled by the cooler 9. |
