<p>The invention relates to a sheath for a knife which is provided with additional equipment and elements which are necessary for survival in emergencies. Whereas up to now, the sheath of a knife of this type has only been used for supporting and carrying the said knife, the object of this invention was to give the sheath additional useful functions. To this end, it is proposed, in particular, that a foldable fork-like element be built into the region of the bottom end of the sheath, which element is designed to become, together with the sheath, an elastic tubular component of a throwing device, or can be added to to make such a throwing device.</p> |
