<p>A dual-circuit braking pressure control unit comprises in a valve housing (1), a pressure-proportioning valve (DM), connected in a first brake circuit (I), and having a by-pass passage (17) controlled by sleeve (18) and a co-axial pressure-limiting valve (DB), connected in a second brake circuit (II), arranged. The control piston (8) of the pressure-limiting valve (DB) projects into the outlet-side valve chamber (37) of the proportioning valve (DM) and thereby confines the pressure at the outlet (6) to the pressure prevailing at the outlet (5). Due to the arrangement of the valve seat ring (26) which is formed fast with the housing, the closure of the proportioning valve (DM) is independent of the position of the pressure-limiting valve (DB), as a result whereof a drop of the closure pressure of the proportioning (DM) in the event of a failure of the brake circuit (II), connected to the pressure-limiting valve (DB),will be avoided. On failure of the brake circuit (I) the sleeve (18) moves rightwards to open the by-pass passage (17). <IMAGE></p> |
