PURPOSE:To give a large induction magnetic anisotropy to an alloy and to make the detecting output of the titled torque sensor larger by a method wherein the amorphous magnetic alloy comprising a specified composition is used in the torque sensor which utilizes the variation of magnetic characteristics of a magnetic metal thin zone having magnetostriction. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous magnetic alloy comprising the composition indicated in the formula is used and the alloy is given a large induction magnetic anisotropy in advance by performing a thermal treatment in a magnetic field and fixed to a rotating shaft for obtaining a sensor having a large detecting output. M is an essential component for obtaining a large value of induction magnetic anisotropy, while M' makes the crystallizing temperature of the amorphous alloy rise, upgrades the thermal stability as well as can adjust the magnitude of the thermal expansion coefficient, can conform to the magnitude of the thermal expansion coefficient of rotating shaft material. The M' is an effective element for obtaining a reliable torque sensor. |
