PURPOSE:To automatically removes burrs on the crest and trough parts of the outer periphery of a workpiece, by providing such an arrangement that a rotary tool is made press-contact with the workpiece which is rotated on a rotary disc, in the direction opposite to the rotating direction of the workpiece, so that the positional relation between the workpiece and the rotary tool is always maintained constant to remove the burrs. CONSTITUTION:A distance between the crest part (a) of a cylindrical member 1 secured to a rotary disc 2 and a rotary grind stone 23 is set. Further, a predetermined grinding load is set onto the grind stone 23 by means of an air-cylinder 24, and the rotational speed of the grind stone 23 is set at a predetermined value. When the disc 2 and the grind stone 23 are rotated, the crest part (a) of the cylindrical member 1 is made into contact with the grind stone 23 so that burrs are removed. Further, pressure between the crest part (a) of the cylindrical member 1 and the grind stone 23 exceeds the predetermined value set by the air-cylinder 24, the grind stone 23 is swing in the direction A about the support shaft of a rotary plate 18. When the grind stone 23 passes over the front end section of the crest part (a), the grind stone 23 is pulled back in the direction C by the cylinder 24. At this time the crest part (a) is always pressed under a predetermined pressure by means of the grind stone 23, and therefore, the disc is pushed back in the direction opposite to the direction indicated by the arrow B. |
