PURPOSE:To enable to simplify construction and reduce the weight and the price of a device by operating an holding and a conveying mechanism by a single motor when several overlapped media are conveyed. CONSTITUTION:In a conveying mechanism to hold a thick medium 76 between for conveying, a roller 64 to send out the medium 76 in a fixed direction, a roller 62 to hold the medium, a cam mechanism consisting of a cam 57 to drive the roller 62 in a meduium-holding direction and reversely, an oscillating lever 59, and the like, and a motor 51 to be rotated regularly and reversely are provided. Furthermore, power transmission means consisting of a gear 55 and a one-way clutch 56 are provided; in the first power transmission means, the one- directional rotation of the motor 51 is transmitted to the roller 64, and in the second power transmission means, the reverse rotation of the motor 51 is transmitted to the above-said cam mechanism. This construction permits to convey several sheets of media in a simple structure. |
