PURPOSE:To attain no adjustment and high reliability for the titled device by using an A-D converter so as to convert a chrominance signal into a digital signal and performing a chrominance signal processing and a video signal processing being the main processing in signal processing section of the color camera device by means of digital circuits. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd picture element signals 9, 10 comprising the repetition of different chrominance signals at the 1st and 2nd horizontal read scanning period are analog signals. A digital picture element signal 12 is applied to a digital signal detector 4, where the signal becomes a digital color difference signal 29 repeating sequentially the 1st and 2nd color difference signals. Then, the signal becomes the 3rd and 4th digital color difference signals 14 and 15 being independent of each other at a digital chrominance signal processor 3. These signals 14, 15 and the corrected digital video signal 13 are formed into a standard color TV signal 16 by a standard color television synthesizer 5 based on a control pulse signal 21 generated from a driving circuit device 6.
