<p>PURPOSE:To enhance operation efficiency of a chute-type device in article take- out equipment in a merchandise warehouse by forming the equipment in such a manner that articles are assorted into groups the number of which does not exceed the number of supply cylinders, by using both a stack-place indication signal and an article mark that is read from the suface of the article on a guide passage. CONSTITUTION:An article is given code indication when it is loaded on a chute 1 or just before it is discharged from the chute 1. An information processor 7 gives discharge instruction to the chute 1 in accordance with an order list and at the same time files the code data and berth number of the article. The data such as part No., quantity, and berth number are read by an article identifying device 3 while the article is being conveyed after it is discharged from the chute 1, and instruction is output to an article-separately-stocking-device 4 per individual article. As a result, the article is distributed and conveyed into the designated berth, while a stack-completion-signal is sent to the file in order to erase the stored data. With this contrivance, the operation efficiency can be enhanced.</p> |
