<p>PURPOSE:To form a profile with almost no divergence in phase and amplitude by inserting an element with opposite transfer characteristics to compensate the deterioration of machining precision generated from the transfer function of a servo system. CONSTITUTION:Machining under high-speed rotations is enabled by compensating the delay or gain loss of a servo system. That is, by adding a transfer element of K/T (s) (K is a constant and generally K=1.) in series to a servo system expressed by Y(s)=T(s)R(s), where R(s) is an input, Y(s) is an output, and T(s) is a transfer function, the relationship between the input and output becomes Y(s)=T(s).K.R(S)/T(s)=KR(s), thus a servo system with no phase delay and no amplitude change for any frequency component can be constituted. In practice, the transfer element of K/T(s) is formed in a control computer, and the servo system output Y(s) can be made K.T(s) by using the computer output U(s)= K.R(s)/T(s) as the servo system input.</p> |
