PURPOSE:To obtain a toner which has excellent fixability and provides a sharp image of high density without aggregation and offset phenomenon by sticking or incorporating a fluororesin on or in the surface of a shell enclosing a core material such as a pigment and if necessary, magnetic powder, binder resin, etc. CONSTITUTION:A fluororesin is stuck or incorporated at 0.1-10wt% by the total weight of a capsule toner on or in the shell of the capsule toner by a method of using a dispersion prepd. by dispersing a fine particulate fluororesin having 0.2-0.4mu average grain size in a gum arabic soln. in the stage of manufacturing the capsule toner or adding the fine particulate fluororesin to a dispersion prepd. by dispersing the toner in water after the manufacture of the toner. A polytetrafluoroethylene resin, tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer, etc. are used for the fluororesin. A polyurethane resin or polyurea resin, polyamide resin, etc. are used for the shell resin. The toner having good developability and fixability without aggregation of the toner to each other and offset phenomenon is thus obtd. |
