A vehicle (1), for example in the form of a forest tractor, having front and rear wheel assemblies (2, 4), one of which displays one of the steel link (13) bands, which are destructive for conventional road surfaces. To avoid time-consuming assembly and disassembly an auxiliary rolling assembly (14) is used, which can be flexibly connected to the vehicle and using a power transfer mechanism (22) cause the band-fitted wheel assembly (4) to raise above the base (30) of the vehicle, where the vehicle can be moved on the road by means of the auxiliary rolling assembly (14) takes over the load-bearing task of the wheel assembly (4).<IMAGE> |
