MONITORING SYSTEM OF SET STATE OF MEMORY CASSETTE

PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution by using two signal lines doubling an electric power supply to connect an adaptor to a memory cassette and connecting an electric element which can flow forcibly a set state detecting current between said two lines. CONSTITUTION:A memory cassette 3 is connected to an adaptor 2 to which 50V is applied via two pins of a connector, and a fixed current is flowed to an electric element 3z. This current is set at such a level that can at least actuate a detecting circuit 2h of the cassette 3 which is set. Thus it is possible to detect the level of the voltage set via an amplifier and then a set state. Then a control circuit is actuated after receiving the output signal from the circuit 2h and detecting a complete set state. Thus the storage contents of the cassette 3 are read out or written. In case the cassette 3 is not completely set, the circuit 2h is not actuated since the voltage level set by a setting current cannot be detected. Furthermore the circuit 2h does not reach the set current level when the set state of the cassette 3 is incomplete. Thus the circuit 2h is not actuated.
