PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of draining the condensed medium in a vertical heat conductive tube by improving the configuration of the metal wire wound spirally to drain the condensed medium on the outer surface of the tube. CONSTITUTION:Four vertical wires 10 are disposed parallelly to and around a heat conductive tube 4 with a nearly equal phase spacing. In order to fix the vertical wires 10, ring wires 11 fixedly attached to the vertical wires 10 are disposed in a multiple number suitably spaced in the vertical direction. A spiral 12 which consists of a metal wire wound around the heat conductive tube 4 and extends downward is disposed. The steam is condensed on the outer surface of the heat conductive tube 4, but as the spiral is charged with a high voltage of 4,000V-15,000V, the condensed liquid is drawn to the spiral 12 and flows down to drop in the bottom of a casing 6. In this instance, since the spiral 12 is composed either with a single flat band-like metal wire or a bundle of four metal wires for a greater electrode area, the quantity of the condensed liquid drawn from the outer surface of the tube is increased. |
