PURPOSE:To omit a cable connecting respective I/O units by forming an AC power supply superposing means for transmitting/receiving the signals of input, display, printing, and control means in a module type electronic cash register. CONSTITUTION:In the unit inside of a display device, an AC power supply plug 50 is connected to a power supply circuit 51 and an AC power supply superposing circuit 52. The AC power supply superposing circuit 52 applies transmission data superposed to an AC power line 4 to a transmission control circuit 53 and superposes the transmission data sent to the transmission control device 53 to the AC power supply. Therefore, the cable to be used for connecting respective I/O units is removed and the arrangement of respective I/O units can be optionally attained. |
