<p>PURPOSE:To response to a host side with a simple constitution so that the system of this invention can be used more generally and a device utilizing this system can be made more economically, by installing a simple type remote power-on controlling device which only commands each section to supply electric power upon receiving a calling instruct signal from the host side. CONSTITUTION:When a calling instruct signal is transmitted from a host side to a simple type remote power-on controlling device 6, a power source section 5 starts power supply to a processing device, etc. Then a processing device 3 reads the main body of a program from an initial program loading (iPL) device 2 by means of a loader stored in an ROM in a storage section 1. When a line interrupt signal is transmitted from the host side thereafter, the signal is received by an initial response routine in the ROM and wait signal is returned to the host side, in case where the iPL is not completed yet. When the iPL is completed, the line processing is performed by the program itself.</p> |
