PURPOSE:To easily interpolate the value of a point on two-dimensional coordinates by constituting a interpolating system of a memory having a value table, data area, and mask area, coordinates converting device, and interpolating device. CONSTITUTION:Upon receiving a coefficient and the start command of a calculation equation from an interpolating device 2, a coordinate converting device 3 makes calculation by substituting the coordinate value of a point masked in accordance with the mask information of a mask area 6 into the calculation equation having a definite coefficient and fetches the value of a point having a coordinate value corresponding to the calculated result from a value table 4, and then, writes the fetched value in a location in a data area 5 corresponding to the masked point. The interpolating device 2 implements mask information in accordance with input data to write in the mask area 6 and determines the coefficient of the calculation equation and informs the device 3 of the determined coefficient to provide the command to the coordinates converting device 3. |
