PURPOSE:To automatically control the amount of water supplied corresponding to the pressure of water supplied by providing an arm having a tap member pressed to a water supply port by buoyancy of a floating ball to stop water, which includes an elastic expansion body for controlling the amount of water supplied, which is adapted to press the arm in the direction of stopping water corresponding to the pressure of water supplied. CONSTITUTION:Corresponding to the pressure of water supplied in a water supply pipe, an elastic expansion body 17 is expanded downward, so tha force F for pushing down to the trail end 13a of an arm works to press the arm in the direction of stopping water. Thus, the amount of water supplied can be automatically controlled. That is, since the force F is large when the pressure of water supplied is high, a discharge water passing area formed by a rubber packing 11 and a water supply port 10 is narrowed to decrease the amount of water supplied. On the contrary, when the pressure of water supplied is low, the force F is small. Therefore, the discharge water passing area is hardly reduced by pressure of water supplied, and the amount of water supplied is almost same as the conventional ball tap. Accordingly, since the amount of water supplied is limited when the pressure of water supplied is high, with the high pressure of water supplied, the amount of water supplied corresponding to the amount of hot water supplied is immediately supplied to a hot water storing tank, so that high-temperature hot water will not remain in the upper portion of the tank to be discharged. |
