PURPOSE:To supress the required electric power of compressors to a minimum by detecting the minimum value of each pipe end pressure on the load side, comparing the detected value with a previously set up minimum guarantee value and increasing decreasing the set pressure in accordance with the difference. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 1 sends a pressure setting signal PS to a pressure controller 8 controlling the opening/closing of suction control valves 6-1, 6-2 of compressors 7-1, 7-2 through a remote computer 4 and a process I/O 5 and inputs pipe end pressure detecting signals P1-P3 for loads 11-1-11-3 through the I/O 5 to execute prescribed calculation and update the signal PS. The controller 8 opens/closes the loads of the compressors 7-1, 7-2 by opening/closing the control valves 6-1, 6-2 and controls the header pressure PV of a header 9 between the set pressure PS and a lower limit set pressure PV determined by the control width PB of the controller 8. Consequently, the power consumption of the compressors can be minimized and the required minimum pipe end pressure can be secured. |
