PURPOSE:To enable the replacement of several types of collimators in a safe, accurate and easy manner by arranging a truck separate from a gantry so that the truck can be connected freely to the gantry in such a manner as to be connected thereto at the replacement of the collimators and retreated releasing after the end of the replacement. CONSTITUTION:A gantry 1 incorporates a number of radiation detectors arranged in a ring about a tunnel 11 provided at the center thereof and a mechanism for applying a motion such as inclining, rotating and swinging to these detectors. A bed 2 is provided to move an object 3 to be inspected vertically and longitudinally into a tunnel 11 of the gantry 1. A truck 4 is placed on a rail 41 reaching the gantry 1 and various collimators 5 are separately supported on a plurality of support arms 6 mounted on a rotatable strut 42. The gantry 1 is provided with a connecting arm 7 to connect it to the support arms 6 of the truck 4 approached. |
