Title compds. (I; R=alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, furfuryl, Ph, (CH2)3-X; X=heterocycle; n=0-3), useful as blood platelet aggregation inhibitors, were prepd. by the reaction of II with III. Thus, stirring 1.55g 9,12-dioxo-trans-10-octadecenoic acid with 300mg isoproplamine in chloroform in the presence of 610mg trienthylamine and 760mg isobutylchlorocarboxylic acid gave 1.65g N-isopropyl-9, 12-dioxo-trans-10-octadecenide(93.9% yield).
